Have you ever felt like you’ve been in one of those funks, where even if you DID have things to say, you didn’t feel the urge to write them down – let alone BLOG?
Suffice to say…that’s been what’s been happening to me.
This is NOT an excuse or anything…but after everything that’s happened in the TB/SVM fandom…I felt DRAINED. I had no desire to write or blog PERIOD. I needed a break from it all.
Well, now I’m back and maybe, hopefully to stay. I REALLY want to get my desire to blog again back in full force, because I have SO MANY things to say and need to get off my chest, or I’ll explode!
So, here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to fill you in on what’s been happening in my life, what I’m “into” now, and what adventures and things I’ve been up to in the last couple of years. We’re going to take a short trip through memory lane, as well as I’m going to give you my thoughts on the TV shows I’m watching.
Sounds like a plan? I hope so!
I hope you’re still around…and I’m not talking to myself or people will think I look like this;
Or…maybe you think I look like this anyways? 🤔 I don’t know…but I’ll try my best to blog often and in the only way I know how.
It’s December 23rd…the day before Christmas Eve. And one of the last days to get all your Christmas shopping done before the holiday.
As any Seinfeld fan (which I am) knows – this day also marks the day called Festivus – a holiday to air your grievances, show off your aluminum pole and wrestle your friends to the ground in a feat of strength.
Since I can’t (obviously) wrestle any of you to the ground in a feat of strength. I’ll just have to show you a ‘sexy’ aluminum pole and air my grievances over the past year. As you know I LOVE to rant, so airing my grievances is my particular feat of strength.
First, let’s show you the sexy aluminum pole.
What are my grievances? Read on to find out what I’ve chosen for this year.
Wow…I’m not sure what to say about this episode…I really don’t. You know it’s bad when…the tweets on Twitter keep you more entertained than the show all of you are watching and tweeting about. Well, that pretty much sums up how I felt after watching the True Blood Season 7 premiere “Jesus Gonna Be Here”.
You’ll soon see why in my recap and review.
WARNING: If you have not watched the episode…this WILL contain spoilers. Read at your own risk!
To ship or not to ship? That’s a really good question! I’ve been deliberating this for quite awhile…
Those who know me know I’ve been a “loser” or a “jinx” when it comes to shipping couples in books and TV shows in the past. For those who don’t know…this is a quick run-down of couples I’ve “shipped” who haven’t ended up getting a happily ever after (HEA) with each other. I’ve kindly included the reasons why I think they didn’t receive a HEA – though it makes NO SENSE to me why they couldn’t have had a HEA. The only reason I could come up with – is that it has to do with ME.
Wow, it’s been awhile…hope you had a great holiday season! We have a lot of catching up to do, but first thing’s first.
“WHY THE FUCK “DEAD” ISN’T OVER YET?” <–That’s what I want to know!
As I told you in my last post, there’s going to be an Audible book featuring the Sookie Stackhouse series coming out – compiled of various fanfictions, written about various characters in the series, and written by “CH-approved” authors. It will be edited by CH herself, no less. In my post, I’m sure I made clear my feelings and lack of approval of this so-called “book”.
First off…you’re probably wondering what’s set me off now? Well, Mary Janice Davidson (one of those fanfic authors in that book) will be writing about Eric. Of course, I wanted to find out what she wrote about him in her fic. (I don’t care about any of the other characters so we’ll just leave them be.) Anyways, she posted a little excerpt on her blog and it pissed me off all over again!
I’m not alone in how I feel. Many fans on Team Eric feel the same way too. I have a few things to say about it; let the “Dead” stay dead! This series is over and done! Stop trying to squeegee every last drop from this series! Put a fork in it…it’s DONE! (I could go on…but I’m sure you’re smart enough to catch my drift. 😉 )
One of my friends wanted to vent about this and I told her I’ll be venting too – wanna have a two-some? So you’re going to get two rants in this post!
