I love that Melitta’s dream did prophesize her death, but not in the way she interpreted it (or any of us did). Her affair with Gannicus was the ultimate cause of her death because if it were not for that, she never would have gone to him with the poisoned wine that night. In her dream, we see her picking out the wine that ends her life. It was a great episode (in a terribly tragic/heartbreaking sort of way…)

I think I actually ended up liking Gods of the Arena better than Blood and Sand! It was better written, the acting was more impressive, etc. This is a great example.
