Why The F*&k “Dead” Isn’t Over Yet?

Wow, it’s been awhile…hope you had a great holiday season! We have a lot of catching up to do, but first thing’s first.

“WHY THE FUCK “DEAD” ISN’T OVER YET?” <–That’s what I want to know!

As I told you in my last post, there’s going to be an Audible book featuring the Sookie Stackhouse series coming out – compiled of various fanfictions, written about various characters in the series, and written by “CH-approved” authors. It will be edited by CH herself, no less. In my post, I’m sure I made clear my feelings and lack of approval of this so-called “book”.

First off…you’re probably wondering what’s set me off now? Well, Mary Janice Davidson (one of those fanfic authors in that book) will be writing about Eric. Of course, I wanted to find out what she wrote about him in her fic. (I don’t care about any of the other characters so we’ll just leave them be.) Anyways, she posted a little excerpt on her blog and it pissed me off all over again!

I’m not alone in how I feel. Many fans on Team Eric feel the same way too. I have a few things to say about it; let the “Dead” stay dead! This series is over and done! Stop trying to squeegee every last drop from this series! Put a fork in it…it’s DONE! (I could go on…but I’m sure you’re smart enough to catch my drift. 😉 )

One of my friends wanted to vent about this and I told her I’ll be venting too – wanna have a two-some? So you’re going to get two rants in this post!

And WOW…let’s just say…

She needs to work on her grammar and punctuation. Who are her editors anyways? Oh yeah…*snorts* Nevermind…LOL

She really, really, really, really – did I say REALLY…doesn’t know Eric Northman very well at all. Just this little glimpse is enough to tell it’s not really Eric’s “voice”. He sounds strange and robotic.

Anybody who has read the books knows that Eric has NEVER wanted power, let alone taking over the United States of America. Where the fuck did that come from?
And it’s not fine for Eric to ever “settle”, but it’s okay for Sookie? WTF?

This is NOT canon. It wasn’t written by CH (even though she approved it) and so this has no meaning when it comes to the series. It’s just a bunch of bullshit written by people who are willing to kiss CH’s ass! 

STOP TRYING TO RIP OPEN OLD WOUNDS! Here I thought the wounds CH inflicted where healed…but every time there’s a new book and/or CH opens up her big, fat stupid mouth…it rips them open again! I’m trying to move on with my life, but CH always finds a way back into my life, and I’d just like to move on…SO PLEASE STOP WITH THIS BULLSHIT!

Now it’s my friend, Coy’s turn – hope you don’t mind. These are going to echo some of what I already said.

The cut ran deep and it is still bleeding to this day and it has been quite a while since the wound was inflicted. Just like the song from Poison “Like the knife that cuts from a wound heals but that scar…that scar remains!” That scar gets opened up again and again and I just want to fucking scream.

I am talking about the non-stop fucking Sookie Stackhouse shit that keeps getting shoved in my face, and should be DEAD TO THE WORLD right now but no, I have to be reminded of my foolishness. I had to read (NOT BUY) the shitty ending to what could have been great series, if the writer had not wanted to send a big fuck you to the readers that trusted the story was going where she led us for 12 fucking books AND now we get more. Why? What is the point?

You cannot give a HAPPY ending or some form thereof through fan fiction written by a not well known crappy fan fiction writer and think it is okay. Guess what? It is not okay. It just rubs more salt in the wound. It will not change what happened in the final book of this series and it won’t make it better for those that loved the series at one point (flaws to which there were many and all). It is just another attempt for the cash cow to make more money off this series that no one gives a shit about anymore.

Eric could be made President of the United States of America, Russia, become the Prime Minister of England and take over the whole damn world and it would still not be okay. I don’t care if he stands on his head, wears a kilt and dances a fucking jig, the damage to his character was done in DEA and there is NO GOING BACK! I guaran-damn-tee you that no fan fiction writer is going to make that all okay, especially from the snippet I forced myself to read.

As Danny told Rizzo in “Grease”: “Sloppy seconds ain’t my style.”

There you have it…two rants which both say the same thing! You know what they say…“great minds think alike”! Sorry, if the repetitiveness of it bored you…
